I have installed fcitx which is a famous chinese input method, so I don't want to install scim and ibus. And I want to use kimpanel with fcitx, but I can't emerge kdeplasma-addons with the kimpanel widget(applet) if I didn't add "scim" use-flag to it. Anyone can fix it? Thanks in advance!
What happens if you do not set useflag scim, but install fcitx? Anyway, I've made some modifications to the 4.8.1 ebuild and included useflags "ibus" and "fcitx". Try with USE="-ibus -scim fcitx" and tell us if that helps. @cjk: I'm flying blind here, could you please check a bit if what I'm doing makes sense?!
I think the new ebuild has fixed the problem. I have just reinstalled the kdeplasma-addons wiht enabling "fcitx" use-flag, and I can use kimpanel normally. Thanks!
