running `etcat versions sys-libs/db` used to produce a nice, concise output, in the form: sys-libs/db [ I] 4.0.14-r2 (4) [M~ ] 4.2.52_p1 (4.2) And so on. Now, each *individual* version [ebuild] get's it's own status line. sys-libs/db-4.0.14-r2 : [ I] 4.0.14-r2 (4) sys-libs/db-4.2.52_p1 : [M~ ] 4.2.52_p1 (4.2) etc Which is kinda silly. I realize that this is just a request, but the conciseness of etcat versions was one of the best things about Gentoo. In fact, I am in the process of writing an article for a Linux magazine praising that very feature! Is this something that can be controlled with a configuration parameter? Either way, I recommend reverting that behaviour. AfC Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
