Description Mark Purtill 2004-02-08 18:39:01 UTC
If I run xine as a normal user, it pops up a bunch of "keybinding error" windows. If I click on "RESET", xine eventually crashes after several such windows:

This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.9.22.

Built with xine library 1.0.0 (1-rc2)

Exit 134

If I click on "Editor" on all 21 windows, dismissing the editor each time, then I get the same output (up to the last "xine_interface: unknown param 10"). But then I don't get the controls; the window just sits there.

If I run as root, I don't get the popups and the controls appear, but when I click on "DVD", I get a different crash:

Comment 1 Mark Purtill 2004-04-03 17:26:43 UTC
I re-emerged xine and removed my ~/.xine directory as the ebuild suggested. (This message, of course, isn't very helpful when it's in the middle of a big "emerge world", but probably I should have done that in the first place.) Things now seem to work except I get no sound (but that would be a different bug if I can't figure it out). Marking this as INVALID.
