Description Matthew Marlowe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-03-20 12:30:35 UTC
Apparently there is a new release.

20 March 2012

Zabbix SIA is proud to announce the availability of Zabbix 1.8.11.

Zabbix is an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring solution. Zabbix is released under the GPL, thus it is free of charge for both commercial and non-commercial use. A complete text of the license is available at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.txt.

This document contains the release notes for Zabbix 1.8.11. Download it from http://www.zabbix.com/download.php.

This release fixes known issues of Zabbix 1.8.x and introduces new minor features. A nice overview of the new functionality is at http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/1.8/manual/about/what_s_new_1.8.11.

1.8.11 has been committed to tree, and it also contains both the sqlite use flag change and the succeeding patch. Temporarily masked to ensure that all prior patches apply to it and that it will build on my test boxes. If successful, will unmask into general testing on all supported arches and may eventually become the new stable after 30+ days.

Tested, apparently as-needed patch no longer required (already implemented in release).
Updating ebuild and recommiting. Will verify later and if tests are good, release to testing to arch.
