Most of the way there I think.

vmware-modules-264.2-r1 from vmware overlay
kernel version hardened 3.2.11

Can't test vsock (depends on vmci).  All other modules loaded.


In order to proceed I also needed to do this

paxctl -Cm /opt/vmware/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-vmx

Has anyone been able to work on this?  I don't have a system to test this on anymore.

is app-emulation/vmware-modules-264.2 still in portage at all?

This version of vmware is no longer in either the official tree or the vmware overlay.
