Description Dragoljub Spasojevic 2012-03-17 17:46:43 UTC
Hello,

we would like to add our mirror to your list.
Address of our mirror is mirror.sbb.rs and we physically located in Serbia (Europe).
For start we have 1Gbps connection for this server but our overall capacity to Tier1 providers (Telia,Cogent,Level3 and Tinet) is more than 50Gpbs. Also we are connected and have peering with almost all operators in Serbia and in several ISP's in region.

Hello. On behalf of the mirror-admin team, I want to apologize for not getting back to your bug report. At this time, we are closing ALL new mirror request bugs.

The Gentoo Linux Infrastructure team and the mirror-admin team have found that a plethora of community mirrors exist and adding more requires an exponential amount time from us then we have available. As such, this becomes a more poor user experience than desired because the team cannot keep up. The Gentoo Linux project is not contrained in hardware resources and does not need anymore mirrors (even if your request is for a country that is not represented currently).

Thanks for understanding and thank you for your interest.
With regards,
Jeremy
