Description Olivier Mondoloni 2004-02-08 06:22:22 UTC
the following line to set country for this modem is not good (/etc/modules.d/slmodem) :
# options slmodem country=USA
You are to change to:
# options slmdm country=USA

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge slmodem
2. modules-update
3. modprobe slamrmo

Actual Results:
when I modified the following line in the file /etc/modules.d/slmodem :
options slmodem country=FRANCE
the country parameter for this modem is set to USA instead of FRANCE.

Expected Results:
You have to see country set to FRANCE (dmesg).
