Description Creighton Fox 2004-02-07 21:09:22 UTC
I was doing an emerge -u world which would get through just fine, up until the new version of GCC 3 is being compiled. I tried emerging just GCC. Failed. Then I tried emerging everything, then GCC. Failed. Still no go today.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install system with stage 3.
2. emerge -u world
3. GCC 3 fails!
Actual Results:
Uh... it failed!

Expected Results:
Well, it should have installed no doubt.

This file is huge, I assume all the important information is at the end, but
included it all just in case.

what is the situation here now?
Comment 3 Creighton Fox 2004-03-06 08:50:53 UTC
Fixed. Turns out that it was a hardware problem of sorts. I'm marking this one as resolved.
