Ideally, genkernel should generate initrds that are EVMS / LVM aware, otherwise systems using EVMS or LVM on their / partitions will never be able to boot.

yes, look in /usr/share/genkernel/TODO
closing since it's already in there

So, I guess this is a resloved later bug.

We can talk about how to fix it here, and I'm also needing this support.

maybe reopen if it's not currently known how to do this?
