Created attachment 304329 [details] test srpm I'd like to add keywords to app-arch/rpm-4.9.1.2 for as many architectures as possible. Older stable version has been stabilized on most architectures, but it's been buggy with several security issues. First step towards getting rid of that old version would be to keyword new one. Besides a compilation I also have a simple test case prepared for those willing to verify a bit more: * download attached srpm * run "rpmbuild --rebuild javapackages-tools-0.3.0-3.src.rpm * install resulting rpm with "rpm --nodeps -i javapackages-tools-0.3.0-3.noarch.rpm" * "rpm -qa" should show this rpm as installed * "rpm -ql javapackages-tools" should show you contents of installed package Thanks you

Not an arch tester, but I can confirm that it builds and that the test case works on an otherwise stable IA64 machine.

And why did you add a mips keyword without CCing mips@? 14 Dec 2010; Matt Turner <mattst88@gentoo.org> rpm-4.4.7-r4.ebuild, rpm-4.4.7-r5.ebuild, rpm-4.4.7-r6.ebuild, rpm-4.8.1.ebuild, rpm-5.1.6.ebuild: MIPS doesn't care about rpm, dropping keywords. I dropped our keywords more than a year ago.

So from the conversation on #gentoo-dev, Stanislav is going to maintain rpm on mips. Please rekeyword, because I really don't care about rpm.
My bad, haven't realized mips was last arch. Closing
