During compile I would periodically enter WindowMaker & run ymessenger, logjam, evolution & mozillafirebird. I can't go 12 hours without checking my email
I was also using the FORCE_JAVA setting to use it with Sun's Java distrobution (latest one).
Try with -O2, it seems to be a compiler bug. (btw. I don't think it is wise to compile agains 1.5 beta1 ;-)) Also which gcc version do you have? Try with 3.3.2-r5 (-r6 is broken)
When I did this, I passed this module. Several hours later however, it broke 'oosuport.nbm'. Java 217: cannot resolve symbol symbol : class WizardDescriptor$Panel location: package openide perchance you meant 'WizardDescriptor.Panel' public org.openide.WizardDescriptor$Panel current() THere were other errors with this method, but they scrolled off (the output says 3).
This bug has been inactive for more than 90 days. Is this still relevant? I see beta2 of the jdk has been released and OOo is at 1.1.1 (for x86).
Most of those dollar errors should be patched out by now. So try again and reopen if it still fails
