Switching ${EPREFIX}/bin/sh to dash appears to make emerging packages faster. I have tested both packages on x64-macos and sparc64-sunos, although admin/eselect-sh is a script, so if it works on one architecture, it should work on all of them. Please keyword app-admin/eselect-sh on all prefix architectures and app-shells/dash on x64-macos and sparc64-sunos.
eselect-sh works DIRECTLY from gx86? (Just needs to be imported as-is?)
I use dash on sparc64-solaris and x64-macos, so I doubt it they aren't keyworded there.
True. Keywords: 0.5.7.1:0: ~amd64-linux ~sparc-solaris ~sparc64-solaris ~x64-macos ~x64-solaris ~x86-linux ~x86-solaris

Yes. mgorny fixed it on Prefix back in December: *eselect-sh-0.3 (16 Dec 2011) 16 Dec 2011; Michał Górny <mgorny@gentoo.org> -eselect-sh-0.2.ebuild, +eselect-sh-0.3.ebuild: Version bump. Fixes Prefix and eselect --brief support. http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/app-admin/eselect-sh/ChangeLog?view=markup (In reply to comment #2) > I use dash on sparc64-solaris and x64-macos, so I doubt it they aren't > keyworded there. There appears to be some sort of difference between the main tree and the prefix tree. I had used packages.gentoo.org to check the keywords, which is what caused the confusion.
