As summary. I can reproduce Bug 329575 with easytag 2.1.7 from Portage. I tried and the patch applies to version 2.1.7 and actually fixes the issue.

I don't mean to be offensive, but really, how could you have not checked if the patch is still needed?

I will report this issue to upstream mailing list in a moment.

Fixed in easytag-2.1.7-r1 in CVS.
