After updating to KDE 3.2 (from FVWM2) I noticed that I can't use my favourite editor nedit over a remote connection using ssh. Some keys an key combinations simply are not recognized by nedit. Using xev remote shows that the keys are working - for example the space key. I just noticed that problem with nedit and kde. Running nedit locally with KDE or remote and with FVWM is without such problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start remote session vie openssh with X Forwarding 2. start nedit 3. Check if space and Ctrl-Q is still working... Actual Results: Space and Hotkey for quitting nedit are out of function. Expected Results: That usual hit space and space character appears in editor. Is this still a problem? It seems we were not able to track it down, sorry.
no response - don't see anything we can do to fix this
