Currently a gnome ebuild doensn't take care of the alsa and cups flags, although there are some gnome utilities for them. ?alsa should install gnome-alsamixer ?cups should install gnome-cups-manager Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Well gnome meta is meant to reflect the gnome desktop release, we probably don't want to get too faraway from that. Cups is already been taken care of btw trough nautilus. Alsa is taken care of trough esd afaik, but future gnome releases should become more and more sound architecture agnostic anyway trough gstreamer. Closing not a bug.
