Description Wolfgang Thiess 2004-02-06 04:41:56 UTC
Open konqueror in filemanagement mode.
Go to a directory, containing at least one image (I tried jpg and png).
Right click the image and select "Open with":Kuickshow.
If it is not full screen, type "<ctrl><shift>F" to get it full screen.
Don't care about bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40567 at this point - it does not affect this bug.
Double click the image.

You will see the Browser Window, containing a small list box with both horizontal and vertical scrollbars. The listbox should be as big as it is when opened kuickshow from Graphics menu.

I put a snaphot here, so you can see, what I mean:
http://www.wolle-hamburg.de/Bugs/kuickshow-0.8.6/snapshot1.jpg

To show the bug, it's important to open the browser window the first time by double clicking the image window (in fullscreen mode). If the browser window once opened without showing the bug, it will never appear. You have to close kuickshow and start from beginning to reproduce the error.

I use kuickshow 0.8.6 (KDE 3.2.0), but the bug shows in KDE 3.1.5 as well.
The bug is not kernel depending (2.4.24 as well as 2.6.1) and can even be reproduced on other distributions (SuSE 8.2 and 9.0, Fedora Core 1).

My System is:
Athlon-tbird on EPoX 8KTA3/+
ATI Xpert@Work (Rage Pro)
x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r3 -3dfx -sse -mmx -3dnow +xml2 +truetype +nls -cjk -doc -ipv6 -debug -static +pam -sdk -gatos
