Description Rick Leijssen 2012-02-23 14:10:34 UTC
The current ebuild version of mendeleydesktop in the tree (1.3.1) does not match the file that can be downloaded from www.mendeley.com (1.3.2), which makes the current ebuild impossible to install as-is because of the fetch restriction in the ebuild.

Please change the ebuild to version 1.3.2. I'll look into providing the changed ebuild myself in a few days.

It is fixed in the tree. Thanks for letting me know.

PS: I know the fetch restriction is quite annoying but Mendeley does not provide a direct link to package tarballs. The only link I was able to find doesn't include the package version. If I used that link people would get package corruption warnings every time a new version is out. Honestly, I prefer that people take package corruptions seriously (and not just ignore them) so I made the choice of forcing people to download the package manually instead. Hope you understand.
