Are the following kde-base/kde digests are zero length on purpose?

-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Sep 16 22:33 digest-kde-3.1.4
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Jan 14 22:46 digest-kde-3.1.5
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Feb  2 09:34 digest-kde-3.2.0

Is this meant to effectively "disable" those builds, or is it just an oversight?

emerge -pvu kde-base/kde
Actual Results:  
[ebuild  N    ] kde-base/kde-3.2.0   [empty/missing/bad digest]

There are no files that go with those ebuilds - they just pull in the normal kde ebuilds.  It's a convenience thing.
