Hello, keep up the good work. pax-3.3.4 has bzip2 integration via the -j option. But pax-3.4.12.16 lacks it. So the stabilization makes it difficult to handle archives that have already been compressed with bzip2. For reference, please see http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/bin/pax/options.c#rev1.70 You can also check the manpage.
That patch doesn't apply to this version (this comes from fedora), I also have failed to see any distribution providing that bzip2 support, either an updated patch is needed or try to build latest pax snapshot :-/ Also looks like debian moved to mirbsd pax instead of openbsd one :|
Do you know the CVS command to get sources from openbsd? I couldn't find it :S
