Richard is a PhD student at Stony Brook University in New York. Richard proxy maintains two ZFS ebuilds through floppym and contributes to the science and prefix projects. He's interested in Gentoo Prefix on Solaris, Mac OS X and Linux, the Gentoo Science overlay, KVM, ZFS, toolchains, base system stuff, and Gentoo on MIPS. I will be his mentor.

As an addendum, I have also contributed patches to genkernel. My patches were accepted by robbat2. I forgot to mention that to Matt when he asked me for a list of my contributions.

My jobs have worn me out to the point where I only maintained minimal activity, but I just tackled a Gentoo bug at upstream recently. fearedbliss has beaten me to updating packages that we co-maintain. I usually do more testing than he does, so he gets to it before I do. My inbox is also perpetually swapped with mailing list emails. I have more time now due to life changes, so it is on my to do list.
Also, I should add, that I have been responsive to pings in IRC in #gentoo-dev et al.
