In a document where I use biblatex I get:
! LaTeX Error: File `logreq.sty' not found.

$ grep -R logreq /usr/share/tex*
[...]
/usr/share/texmf-site/tex/latex/biblatex/biblatex.sty:\RequirePackage{logreq}
[...]

$ q file /usr/share/texmf-site/tex/latex/biblatex/biblatex.sty
dev-tex/biblatex (/usr/share/texmf-site/tex/latex/biblatex/biblatex.sty)

If this file does not come with dev-tex/biblatex-1.6 (and was just not installed due to some bug), this package should probably depend on dev-texlive/texlive-bibtexextra, which provides the file according to PFL [1].

Confirming that emerging dev-texlive/texlive-bibtexextra fixes the issue.
