We released mana 0.6.0 a week ago. Lots of user-visible changes (thought not as many as from 0.0.29.1 to 0.5), but the only change preventing the renamed ebuild from working is the installation of a new font.

Since Gentoo (quite sensibly) debundles the fonts, add this to src_install:
dosym /usr/share/fonts/dejavu/DejaVuSansMono.ttf "${GAMES_DATADIR}"/${PN}/data/fonts/dejavusans-mono.ttf
