Description Arnaud Boudou 2004-02-04 12:03:12 UTC
I've emerge kde 3.2.0 (except for kdegames), then tried to start kopete.
I get this error message :
skuld@skuld# kopete
libkopete: WARNING: [KopetePlugin* KopetePluginManager::loadPluginInternal(const QString&)] Unable to find a plugin named 'kopete_chatwindow'!
skuld@skuld#

Then, I tried to add new accounts, but the protocol list is empty, so I can't add all my accounts.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kdenetwork-3.2.0
2. start kopete
3. try to add an account

Actual Results:
An error message when kopete starts
The protocol list is empty

Expected Results:
No error message
All protocols supported by kopete should be displayed

I'm sorry, but I've just found my mistake : I've forgot to unmerge my previous kopete version.
Comment 2 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-05 05:00:02 UTC
Removing kopete is a requirement for KDE3.2 It also blocks kde 3.2, so if you circumvent the block things may break.
