When trying to load Gentoo onto a blade PC I am unable to use my keyboard and mouse from a UHCI controller. The cd boots fine, but after the first "enter" of the keyboard I loose all keyboard functionality. My keyboard is driven from a UHCI controller. I have the same issue when trying to install RH9, but I have a work around by connecting the keyboard directly to the blade pc, installing RH9 rebooting then plugging my peripheral into my cport (cport port is located at the users desk). Please check out the ClearCube website. I am using one of their blade pc. I hope this helps. Please call or email me I would like to try and resolve this issue as fast as possible. what version livecd are you using, have you tried the 2004.0 livecd?
since the problem exists with redhat, I would imagine that it is a kernel usb bug. please contact the upstream dev.
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux". I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers, this is the only reasonable way to do this.
