it fails whith: rm: cannot remove `/var/tmp/portage/openmotif-2.1.30-r4/image/usr/X11R6/bin/lndir': No such file or directory I know, there is allready bug #38228 (for openmotif-3.1.30-r3) dealing with exactly the same problem, but the bug is still in r4 So I thought opening a new bug is ok. I did $ cd /tmp $ emerge -u openmotif > emerge_openmotif-2.1.30-r4.log $ emerge -p openmotif These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild R ] x11-libs/openmotif-2.1.30-r4 huh! wtf. - it worked! no idea, I tried about four times before :-| thanks anyway :)
