kdevelop team is working towards a 4.3 release, beta1 is there.

I'll attach the ebuilds below which all work for me except for downloading the tarballs. That doesn't work well with the eclass or I have no idea, anyway you can find them here:

To get the required kdevelop-pg-qt-0.9.82 I had to inhert git-2 additionally for egit.

dropped patch, raised KDE_MINIMUM to 4.7 because the configure script searches for a 4.7 directory. Anyway, Fedora claims it also depends on kate-part-4.8.00:

Sorry for that! Restoring the original headers and also adding the respective SRC_URIs so that the ebuilds can fetch their tarballs...

Ian Dellany added the ebuilds for beta 1 to the kde overlay.

ouch, I should read my emails more often. Andreas, the ebuilds are already in overlay by Ian (as Johannes already pointed out), I'll have a look at yours as well, test the result and push it in the tree, tomorrow evening.

The beta2 ebuilds from kde overlay work fine on my system.
