Description Lucian Muresan 2012-02-11 00:53:10 UTC
VDR 1.7.23 introduced some problems in displaying symlinked subdirectories in the recordings directory, see the linked ML thread.
Please patch with Sundararaj Reel's fix from the ML thread linked in the URL (not with Klaus' patch two messages later).

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Symlinks in video directory are displayed wrong (as parts of the actual paths they're pointing to)

Expected Results:
Symlinks should be just displayed as themselves in the recording menus, as subfolders named exactly like the symlink.

Hm, what's wrong with Klaus' patch? I didn't read the patches yet nor tested those.
Comment 2 Lucian Muresan 2012-02-12 18:22:09 UTC
Well, if I understood that thread correctly, Klaus' patch is his alternative proposal, and not to be applied over Sundararaj Reel's fix (or at least it does not apply that way), and yes, I tried both. Klaus' fix does not even list the symlinked dirs, maybe I should report that to the mailing list.

Please try 1.7.24.
Comment 4 Lucian Muresan 2012-03-05 07:52:35 UTC
Yes, Klaus fixed it.
