Description KinG-InFeT 2012-02-08 17:30:28 UTC
I would say stabilize this version since it solves the problems of excessive power consumption and many fix about the USB3

Reproducible: Always

Probably not going to happen.
Comment 2 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2012-02-08 19:05:08 UTC
I think this might be tad early. I usually only ask for fast tracking when there is a root exploit or some other security issue. And even then I have to deal with a bunch of complaints.
Comment 3 KinG-InFeT 2012-02-08 21:01:26 UTC
I thought it was something important to stabilize a version with so many improvements and fixes.
Comment 4 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2012-02-09 11:31:59 UTC
There still is a lot of discussion on lkml concerning the fix. Linus is not convinced the power consumption patch is the correct solution to the problem.
