If the .ChordTable directory is not in /home/ this error occurs

 load Chord Table /home/armageddon/.ChordTable
 error opening chordtable file ...  
 you may need to move the chordtable to a different directory 
[1]    14118 segmentation fault  gmorgan


if one creates that directory in /home/ the whole system hangs.

I had to create a file not a directory.
