So I am installing Gentoo and I go to emerge -k gentoo-sources and its part way done the first package the dies...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.boot with install cd
2.go about installing gentoo
3.then run this command #emerge -k gentoo-sources

Actual Results:

Installed the damb OS!!!

I am installing gentoo on a celeron 466 with 256 ram... Its an older HP Pavilian 
4550z

My Bad... was using the x86 packages... should of used the 686 ones
