Description Greg Andreou 2004-01-31 15:37:28 UTC
When selecting a song in the playlist and right clicking on it and selecting view file info the info of the song exactly above it in the playlist gets displayed rather than the selected entry. This happens at least for mp3's and ogg files. When the first song of the playlist is selected the information displayed is correct.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run xmms
2.Add files to the play list
3.Select any file other than the first on the play list
4.Right click and select View file info

Actual Results:
The information of the file above the selected playlist entry is displayed

Expected Results:
The information of the file selected should have been displayed

exactly above or the current song playing ?

mine only shows info on the song playing regardless of what i select
Comment 2 Greg Andreou 2004-01-31 16:28:28 UTC
Its always the song above the entry selected in the playlist regardless of the song playing. It still does this even if no song is playing too.
Comment 3 Jeremy Huddleston (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-31 17:57:40 UTC
It's a problem with the dtd patch. I'm working on a fix and will hopefully have it out this weekend.

The queue/dequeue is suffers from the same problem.

Greg : You probably clickt on the song, but didn't select it first.
Comment 5 Greg Andreou 2004-01-31 19:00:21 UTC
Not sure what you mean when you say clicked but not selected. The song I try to get info on is highlighted and i even tried selecting songs with the keyboard first and then getting the info still with the same result. I also have the same trouble with queue/dequeue.
