In chapter two of the handbook, only once they show how to use the command "loadkeys" and that is in section "Booting the PPC LiveCD(s)", then if a person use an x86 platform he would never see that. I have used "loadkeys" on x86 platform but I'm not sure if you can use it on every platform, probally yes. Then I belive that the use of "loakeys" should be under section "Extra hardware configuration" if you can use "loadkeys" on every platform, or well the instruction should be replicated under the "Booting the x86 or AMD64 LiveCD(s)" section Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.read chapter two of the handbook 2.read section "Booting the x86 or AMD64 LiveCD(s)" 3.follow the link to the section "Extra hardware configuration" Actual Results: I missed the part where they describe how to use loadkeys Expected Results: show me how to use loadkeys either in section "Booting the x86 or AMD64 LiveCD(s)" or "Extra hardware configuration"
Afaik loadkeys isn't available on the x86 LiveCDs. Well, the command is available, but the keymaps aren't where they should be.
Just retested. Loadkeys isn't available during the initial installation of Gentoo. It is of course available after having succesfully installed Gentoo.
