Issue still exists after todays sync. I can't reproduce this at all. Can you reproduce this problem with another rsync server? Can you reproduce it after you have removed the contents of $PORTDIR entirely and run rsync again?
Okay thanks, I deleted rm -R /usr/portage/dev-libs/openssl and did a sync again. Now it works fine.
