Added 'amd64' to keywords in the ebuild file. Emerge gave no errors and the nq-xxx programs all seem to run as expected, however I can't seem to get sound to work. OK, I got it to work. Make sure alsa is compiled into your kernel and the appropriate modules are loaded. Add the following line to your /etc/conf.d/local.start file: echo "nq-glx 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss or, for any of the other executables: echo "EXECUTABLE 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss Now sound works. I guess this fixes it.
please add to stable on AMD64 systems
Done.
