What about 0.5?
0.5 makes no problems. I'm using gnome 2.6 and gtk 2.4 now. Maybe that solves the problem. If I remember correctly, I tried thunderbird 0.5 before and it core dumped too.
Ok, if it works on the current versions of packages, then I'll assume it's going to continue working. No need to investigate an already-solved bug. Thanks for the response. :-)
