The ebuild has IUSE="+midi", but from REQUIRED_USE midi requires either timidity or fluidsynth, both of which default to off.  The ebuild therefore cannot be merged with the default USE settings.

As having a default that must be overridden doesn't seem very useful, I'd recommend either having midi default to off or having one of timidity and fluidsynth default to on.

dropped the default midi use flag.
