1. Boot with latest beta livecd 2. When a prompt shows up, type 'net-setup eth0' 3. Notice that typing a 0 or 1 won't change the position of the bar indicating what type of setup will be done (dhcp or manual setup) In previous versions this worked. Cursor keys still work Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot with latest beta livecd 2. When a prompt shows up, type 'net-setup eth0' 3. Forgot to give the livecd version this happens with: gentoo-2004.0-x86-20040128.iso
have you tried using the new 2004.0 livecd?
net-setup on the 2004.0 image still doesn't respond to the 0 or 1 keys.
Just out of interest, are you using the keys on the Num-Pad or did you try both, those on the keypad and those on the num-pad ? If just those on the numpad don't work, I suspect that this is a keymap-issue
This was with the 'normal' keys. I can't remember having tried the numpad.
Found bug also on minimal sparc64 iso. Numpad 1 works, but numpad or normal 0 will not go gack to DHCP.
fixed in CVS for livecd-tools-1.0.1
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux". I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers, this is the only reasonable way to do this.
