Description Grzesiek Kołodziejczyk 2004-01-30 07:22:03 UTC
When I try to emerge a package, it stops on configure, and says: checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables. Happens sometimes while doing emerge -Uv. I'm using ~x86. I think it started happening after I upgraded to the newest glibc (glibc-2.3.3_pre20040117). Strange thing is that gcc compiled. I can reproduce it with ncurses and freetype.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get glibc 2.3.3_pre20040117
2. Use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"
3. emerge -Uv world

Actual Results:
It didn't compile.

Expected Results:
Compile? ;-)
