Not gonna do anything with bug until ccache is disabled, this is usually the cause of a build failure on x86/amd64. If you can still reproduce with ccache disabled feel free to reopen.
Just cleared ccache, and I got the same error. Tried everything: different makeopts, python-updater, re-emerge xulrunner, lafilefixer, revdep-rebuild, and I get the same error.
Solved it... With -crashreporter flag it compiles fine.
