Description Andrius Štikonas 2012-01-11 18:02:35 UTC
app-text/jadetex ebuild states that the license is freedist.
jadetex.dtx file contains the standard BSD license. While it is a bad idea not to have a separate COPYING file, we can probably assume that the whole jadetex is licensed under BSD.

That is what Debian does (see http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/j/jadetex/jadetex_3.13-12/jadetex.copyright)

It's not BSD but the MIT license (aka X11 or Expat). Doesn't make much of a difference though.

LICENSE="MIT" for the whole package would be fine IMHO.
