Description Daniel Nilsson 2012-01-09 19:51:11 UTC
rsync5.se.gentoo.org aka. mirror2.dataphone.se (212.37.1.30) doesn't work and give an error message during emerge --sync. The problem started about three days ago.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. SYNC="rsync://rsync.se.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"
2. emerge --sync

Actual Results:
>>> Starting retry 1 of 1 with rsync://212.37.1.30/gentoo-portage
@ERROR: chroot failed
rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1516) [Receiver=3.0.8]
!!! Exhausted addresses for rsync.se.gentoo.org

Due to bug #392631 this means that there is no working rsync mirror in the sweden rotation right now.

This issue should now be resolved.

We had a slight hickup in an array which made the filesystem go offline.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
(the mirror should become in-sync as soon as the scheduled synchronization has been done).
