games-arcade/monkey-bubble is currently masked for removal as it is a reverse dependency of media-sound/esound. But that dependency is only a compile-time dependency due to one source file includes esd.h. It doesn't actually use that file. Upstream maintainer Sven Herzberg has simply dropped that line in the repository: https://github.com/mquinson/monkey-bubble/commit/299623f8e6b0b6090e987b09655fafb5458a6dfa So I propose that Gentoo should apply a patch which drops that line, and unmask the package.
