They pass for me :| Maybe running them with dbus-launch could help you, try something like: dbus-launch Xemake check

(In reply to comment #1) > They pass for me :| Ha, have you tried emerging this _without_ having evolution-data-server already installed? Tests indeed pass for me even without this dbus command if I already have the package installed. Here's my guess why: # equery files evolution-data-server | grep dbus /usr/share/dbus-1 /usr/share/dbus-1/services /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.evolution.dataserver.AddressBook.service /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.evolution.dataserver.Calendar.service In other words, the dbus service tests complain about is provided by evolution-data-server itself, which will not work on first-time installation.
Ah, then, this is similar to: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=621763 some tests rely on installed e-d-s instead of using only just build parts :S We will need to extend our skipping commands in src_prepare then :/ # GNOME bug 621763 (skip failing test-ebook-stress-factory--fifo) sed -e 's/\(SUBDIRS =.*\)ebook/\1/' \ -i addressbook/tests/Makefile.{am,in} \ || die "failing test sed 1 failed"
Created attachment 343252 [details] build.log.bz2 Still valid with 3.8.0 :|
Looks like upstream even expects this dbus tests failing some times :S https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705103
Will RESTRICT until upstream really cares about their tests failing randomly :S
