new unstable version. We don't normally put unstable stuff in the tree.
Comment 3 Christian Savard 2004-01-30 06:44:47 UTC
Just curious, how does it qualify as an unstable release? From the web page:

librsvg 2.5.0 released
December 8, 2003: A major bugfix release of librsvg.

Comment 4 Thomas R. (TRauMa) 2004-01-30 11:22:10 UTC
Indeed, and it fixed many bugs here. I'm curious, too.
Comment 5 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-30 12:11:13 UTC
version numbering indicates its part of the unstable release cycle. An individual pack may be more or less stable even during an unstable development phase, but we just work with the stable releases if there are no compelling reasons to do otherwise.
Comment 6 Christian Savard 2004-01-30 12:22:06 UTC
Don't really see anywhere on the web site that says that odd number version are dev. release. Since there was no release between 2.4.0 and 2.5.0 I assumed that it was just a normal release.. Anyway, it's your call. I'm using it and it seems to work fine.
