Small feature suggestion - 

equery last should list the last N packages installed (N=10..20 I'd suggest)

That data is present in /var/log/emerge.log, but not in any way processed, and installing genlop just for that is tedious ;)

Meanwhile, something like “qlop -l” can be use too.
