Description Patrick 2012-01-03 21:43:12 UTC
This is from upstream bug 3066 (http://synergy-foss.org/tracker/issues/3066). Applies to 1.4.5 (and 1.3.8 which isnt in portage).

The problem is that when pasting text copied from the synergy client onto the synergy server, synergy will generate a segmentation fault.

A patch has been proposed on the upstream bug (http://synergy-foss.org/tracker/issues/3066#note-7). The patch is written for 1.3.8, but I applied it to 1.4.5 (with a small fuzz on just one of the files) and it has solved the issue.

Can we get this patch into a 1.4.5-r2 ebuild?

Reproducible: Always

For completeness, can you attach the patch you used here?
