Description Hans Lub 2012-01-03 09:53:30 UTC
Emerging mythvideo fails with the following error message in the build log:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: /usr/lib64/libmythdvdnav-0.23.1.a(dvd_input.o):
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: note: 'dlclose@@GLIBC_2.2.5' is defined in DSO
/usr/lib64/libdl.so: could not read symbols: Invalid operation

Actually, this problem appears to have been fixed upstream (http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/8712). Applying the patch given there solves the problem for me, at least.

Reproducible: Always

Ok, in that case it should be fixed in 0.24.1 if it gets introduced into portage. 0.23 is being phased out at this point (it has numerous problems).
