Description crusaderky 2004-01-29 03:00:04 UTC
I downloaded a torrent of 2.1 GB, 3 AVI files with mldonkey.
It all went well except for the fact that, once reached 97.5%, it began for several days to keep downloading, writing "overdue" in the completion field and remaining with a blue area at the end of the completion bar.
Then, after several days, I stopped receiving anything.

I took the original .torrent file, wrote down the sizes of the three files and extracted them manually with dd from the mldonkey temporary file.

All the three files were perfectly complete, including the last one.
If an AVI file misses a single byte at the end, it becomes unseekable, but I could play and seek perfectly all the 3 movies.

this is not a gentoo problem and should be sent upstream

Is this still happening with the latest versions (I know about the other initscript bug... I just mean this one...)
