Previous versions of shadow's experimental bittorrent client needed a patch to make the status icons work. The ebuild for 5.8.7 doesn't included the patch, so it is now attached here. This patch, when applied to btdownloadgui.py, changes the icon path to /usr/share/pixmaps/bittorrent and restores correct functionality. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

I modified the ebuild to create /usr/share/pixmaps/bittorrent and to automaticaly put the *.ico's there. I also made use of Joseph's patch, it has been remade to properly patch from the working directory where the source extracts to. Side note, this ebuild/patch also works for 5.8.9, and 5.8.8 seems to have been removed from the ftp server where it used to be.

Heh, after reading a little about the messy side of this in the forums, I thought I'd post that this ebuild is a derivative of Anders Bruun Olsen's ebuild that he wrote a little while back.

Recently merged 42116 is bittorrent-theshadow-5.8.10. This outdates this bug, and should probably be closed.
