I will be adding the chapter "Advanced Portage Features" to the Gentoo Handbook as an additional chapter in part "Working with Portage". Its small introduction in the main page will be

Some Portage features are for more advanced users, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be documented. In this chapter, we'll go over some of these more advanced functions.

The Spanish version is up. However, I didn't find the requisite reference in metados.xml.
